I made this for my dad

My name is Enes. I started Ridgebrace because of my dad.

He loves a long hike. Going up was never the problem for him. It was always the way down, and I saw him struggle on it, step after step.

He used to wear a knee brace for support. I went looking for something simpler he could wear on every hike, next to his poles. Something thin that stays in place on the descent.

Now he wears it on the trail.

What he tells me: it stays in place, it doesn't get in his way, and it gives him good support on the way down. That's what I was after.

It's not a medical device and it won't fix a bad knee. It gives a little extra support on the way down. Keep your poles, and see a doctor if your knee hurts a lot.
